The Giant of Provence, with its iconic radio tower- Ventoux is a beast. Scene of the tragic death of Tommy Simpson in 1967 it has featured some amazing battles in the tour from Wout van Aerts solo win to Merckx’s near collapse at the summit after victory. It can be climbed 3 ways and a real challenge is to complete all 3 in a day. Yeah I’m ok thanks!
